Introduction to Export Applications

The Application Export feature allows you to generate detailed reports directly from the Applications Overview page. These reports can include applicant information, form responses, evaluator details, and scores — giving you a flexible way to analyze data outside the platform, share insights with stakeholders, and maintain structured records of your selection process.

If your export includes documents such as images or pitch decks, the download links for those files expire 48 hours after the export is generated. Download your files promptly after the export is ready.

Where to Find Application Export

The export feature is available on the Applications Overview page. Once triggered, generated files can be accessed from the Export History page via the Profile Menu in the top-right corner.

Step-by-Step

1. Configure and Trigger the Export
  1. Go to the Applications Overview page.
  2. Apply the filters that define which applications to include:
    • Select the funnel and a specific status (e.g. a particular round) to access the right set of forms.
    • Add any additional filters such as tags, submission dates, or other criteria.
  3. Click the Columns button to select the data you want to include in the export:
    • Enable or disable columns as needed.
    • Reorder columns using drag-and-drop.
    • Add fields from previous versions of the form if needed.
    • To include evaluator data, make sure the Review Process column is selected.
  4. Review the table carefully — the export will reflect exactly what is shown on screen.
  5. Optionally, select specific applicants using the checkboxes. If no selection is made, all displayed records will be exported.
  6. Click Export and choose your format:
    • XLSX — A full spreadsheet with multiple tabs including summary, detailed data, raw data, and scores. This is the most complete export format.
    • PDF — Available for intake forms only. Exports each form as a formatted document.
    • ZIP — When file attachments are included in the export, you can select this option to download a folder per applicant containing all the files they submitted (images, pitch decks, documents, etc.).

2. Retrieve Your File from Export History

Exports are processed in the background and are not downloaded immediately.

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Export History.
  3. Locate your file — you will see details including creator, source, date, and status.
  4. Wait until the status shows Completed (refresh the page if needed).
  5. Click Download to save the file. A copy will also be sent to your registered email address.

Best Practices

  • Download ZIP exports promptly. Links to attached files (images, pitch decks, and other documents) expire 48 hours after the export is generated — do not leave them in Export History for too long.
  • Use PDF export for intake form reviews. If you need a clean, formatted version of a specific form to share with external reviewers or for record-keeping, the PDF format is the right choice.
  • Use ZIP export for document collection. When you need all applicant attachments organized by person, the ZIP option generates a folder per applicant with everything they submitted — no manual downloading required.
  • Save your filter and column configuration as a view. If you generate the same report regularly, saving the configuration as a Saved View means you can re-apply it in one click next time.
  • Explore all tabs in the XLSX export. The spreadsheet includes a summary tab, detailed data, raw data, and scores — each tab serves a different analysis purpose.
