Introduction to User Export
Description: Learn how to export user data from AcceleratorApp — including how to apply filters, configure columns, and retrieve your file from Export History.
The User Export feature allows administrators to generate comprehensive reports containing user data tailored to their specific needs. By combining standard system information with custom profile fields, this tool provides a flexible way to extract data for external analysis or record-keeping.
This feature is essential for administrative workflows such as auditing user data, sharing specific user segments with internal teams, and performing advanced analytics based on roles, status, tags, or industry.
This feature is restricted to Admin users. If you need access to manage your program's data, please contact support or your system owner to discuss plan permissions.
Where to Find User Export
The export feature is located directly within the User Management page. Once triggered, generated reports can be accessed and downloaded from the Export History page, found in your Profile Menu in the top-right corner.

Step-by-Step
1. Apply Filters in User Management
- Open the User Management page from your sidebar.
- Apply the desired filters to isolate the specific users you need — such as User Role, Status, Tags, or Industry.
- The export will include only the users that match your active filters.

2. Configure Your Columns
Use the column selector to control which columns are visible in the User Management table and in what order they appear.
The export always includes all columns plus all custom fields from user profiles — regardless of which columns are selected or reordered. Column changes affect the table view only, not what gets exported.

3. Initiate the Export
- Click the Export button.
- The file is not downloaded immediately — it is processed in the background.
4. Retrieve Your File from Export History
- Open your Profile Menu in the top-right corner.
- Click Export History.
- Wait until the status shows as Completed (refresh the page if needed).
- Click Download. A copy of the report will also be sent to your registered email address.
Best Practices
- Filter before exporting. Always apply filters first to keep your files clean and avoid exporting your entire user database when you only need a segment.
- Use filters, not columns, to control your export scope. Since all custom fields are always included in the export, focus on getting your filters right rather than adjusting columns.
- Refresh for status updates. If your export is taking a moment, a quick page refresh on the Export History screen will update the status to Completed.
