Introduction to Login, Forgot Password & Account Activation Page Customization
AcceleratorApp allows you to fully customize the pages your users see when logging in, resetting their password, or activating their account. This ensures every touchpoint reflects your organization's branding and provides a consistent, professional experience from the very first interaction.
Where to Find Page Customization
Navigate to General Settings from the left sidebar menu and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the Customization section you will find three options:
- Customize login page
- Customize forgot password page
- Customize activate account page
Click on any of them to open the customization modal.

Step-by-Step
The customization modal is the same across all three pages. Here is what you can configure:

1. Header
Configure the top section of the page:
- Logo Type — Choose between Default (light background) or Inverse (dark background) logo.
- Redirect users when logo is clicked — Enable this option to add a URL that users are sent to when they click the logo.
- Background color — Set the header background using a HEX code.
- Button — Customize the style of your CTA button across three states:
- Default — Standard appearance of the button.
- Hover — Appearance when the user hovers over the button.
- Focus — Appearance when the button is in focus (e.g. keyboard navigation).
- For each state, set the button background color and button text color.
2. Page Background
Customize the left side of the page (desktop) or top section (mobile):
- Choose a background color or upload a custom image. Recommended Aspect Ratio is 3:4. Image dimensions dynamically adjust across different screen sizes.
- Use Click to Add to insert content blocks. Available blocks depend on your plan:
- Text box — Add custom text content.
- Squeezebox — FAQ accordion for structured Q&A content.
- Image — Upload a custom image block.
- Video — Upload a video file or embed directly from YouTube.
3. Form Area
Personalize the form section of the page:
- Background color
- Logo
- Button style and text color
- Confirmation checkboxes (with multi-language support)
- Form content (customize fields as needed)
4. Preview & Publish
- Switch to Preview Mode to check how the page looks on desktop and mobile before going live.
- Once satisfied, click Publish and toggle Customization ON to activate your personalized page.
Without toggling Customization ON, the page will still show the default layout even after publishing.
Best Practices
- Customize all three pages for a consistent experience. Users move between login, forgot password, and account activation — keeping the branding consistent across all three avoids a jarring experience.
- Always preview on mobile. The layout shifts significantly between desktop and mobile — what looks great on a wide screen may need adjustments for smaller viewports.
- Set a logo redirect URL. Linking your logo to your organization's website gives users a clear path to learn more about you directly from the login page.
- Toggle Customization ON after publishing. Without this step, users will still see the default page even after your changes are saved and published.
- Use content blocks strategically. A well-placed text block or image on the login page can reinforce your program's value proposition and make a strong first impression on new applicants.
