How to View Funnels in Accelerator App?
Learn how to view application funnels in the Accelerator App
Funnels Overview
Application Funnels are managed by the Admin and Sub-Admin of an incubator. An incubator may have more than one funnel and a funnel can be used for applications to more than one program (limited to pricing plans).
From the Funnel page, Admins can change the status of the application funnel. Archiving the funnel will automatically archive all draft applications (applicants cannot continue their applications) and block new applications. By turning off the transparency of the process, applicants will not see the application process, nor will they see how far they are in the process.
If you have more than one application funnel, you can make them available from the main application page and applicants can use the general link to apply, otherwise they must use the direct link to a funnel.
Where to Find Funnel Overview
Click on Applications from the Home page or the top menu to open the Applications Overview page.
Step-by-Step Actions
STEP 1: Click on the Applications tab from the top menu or the home page.
STEP 2: Click on the Funnels tab.
STEP 3: Each Funnel can be edited, duplicated, or deleted.
Managing the Visibility of a Funnel
- Funnel status - Active (blue) funnels can receive new applications, while archived (red) funnels cannot. Archiving a funnel will archive applications currently in draft mode and block the submission of new applications while allowing you to continue evaluating applications that have already been submitted.
- Transparency - The transparent process (blue) allows applicants to see the number of selection rounds and they will know their progress in the process. The hidden selection process (red) prevents applicants from seeing the number of selection rounds and keeps the applicant(s) in the dark until they've been accepted or rejected.
- Accessibility - Application funnels are accessible from the main application page (blue) or by direct link only (red). Funnels accessible on the main application page will be part of the drop-down in the general application page; your.url.com/application/new, otherwise the funnel(s) can only be accessed via their direct link.
Tips & Best Practices:
- Application funnels can be used to recruit mentors or staff to the incubator.
- Make application funnels accessible on the main application page to attract a wider audience to your programs.
