Inviting Mentors to your Community
Inviting mentors to your AcceleratorApp ecosystem is the first step in building a strong mentor network. This feature allows you to send personalized email invitations, giving mentors access to engage with your startups and community effectively.
Once onboarded, mentors can participate in activities such as coaching sessions, evaluations, and direct interactions with startups.

Where to Find It
The Inviting Mentors feature is located in the Community section, accessible via the top menu in AcceleratorApp. Within this section, navigate to Mentor Management to manage and invite new mentors.

How to Use the Feature
- Go to the Community section in the top menu of AcceleratorApp.
- Click on Mentor Management to open the mentor administration page.
- Locate the blue Invite Mentor button in the upper-right corner and click it.
- Fill in the required fields in the pop-up window:
- Mentor’s email address.
- Optional personalized message for the invitation.
- Double-check the details and click Send Invitation.
- The mentor will receive an email with instructions to join the platform. Once they accept the invitation, they’ll be added to the mentor network and can start interacting with startups.
How to Edit the Mentor Account Invitation Email
From the Startups section, select the Emails tab. From there, locate the onboarding process email titled Mentor Account Invitation. Click on it to edit the content and customize its design. For more details about managing emails, click here.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use a personalized message to provide context about their role or the startups they’ll be supporting.
- Confirm with the mentor that they’ve received the invitation, as email delivery might sometimes be delayed.
- Monitor pending invitations to resend or follow up if needed.
