Introduction to Managing Mentor's Availability

Mentors can set their availability to schedule one-on-one sessions with startups. This feature helps streamline scheduling by letting mentors define when they’re open for meetings. However, sometimes mentors may lack the time or technical knowledge to manage their availability. That’s why AcceleratorApp gives admins the ability to manage availability on behalf of mentors, ensuring that schedules are set up efficiently.

 

Admins can proactively align mentor availability with program needs, avoiding scheduling conflicts and ensuring that startups have access to guidance when needed. For mentors, this reduces the burden of manual updates, allowing them to focus on their mentoring tasks.

 

Feature Location

  • Navigate to Community or Startups section in the top menu.
  • Select Mentors Management from the dropdown.
  • Locate the mentor whose availability needs updating.

Step-by-Step Actions

For Admins Editing Availability on Behalf of Mentors:

  1. Navigate to the Mentors Management section under Community located on the top menu.
  2. Find the mentor in the list.
  3. Click the settings icon in the last column on the right of the mentor's row, then select View/Edit Availability from the dropdown menu.
  4. Adjust time slots (recurring or specific availabilities) according to the mentor’s preferences or program needs.
  5. Save changes to finalize the updates.
