Custom Fields

Custom fields are reusable questions that can be used to collate and display information about a startup or a user. The answers are synchronized across each use case and their linked profile. 

Administrators can create Custom Fields to customize the information displayed in the startup profile, user profile, and the forms, we refer to these as Object Types. 

Where to Find Custom Fields

Click on the Menu icon on the top left of the page, and click on Custom Fields.

Types of Custom Fields

• Attachment: Allows users to upload files (e.g., documents, images, PDFs). 
• Date: Enables users to select a specific date. 
• Dropdown Multiple Choice (Min 2 options): Presents a list of options from which users can select multiple choices. 
• Dropdown Single Choice (Min 2 options): Presents a list of options from which users can select only one choice. 
• Long Answer: Provides a large text area for users to enter extended responses. 
• Multiple Question: Presents a set of sub-questions, often with varying field types, within a single field. 
• Nested Dropdown Multiple Choice: Offers hierarchical dropdown menus, allowing users to select multiple options from different levels. 
• Nested Dropdown Single Choice: Offers hierarchical dropdown menus, allowing users to select a single option from different levels.
• Number: Restricts input to numerical values only. 
• One Liner: Provides a single-line text field for short responses. 
• Scale: Presents a range of values (e.g., 1-5, 1-10) for users to rate something. 
• Single Choice: Presents a set of options (e.g., radio buttons or checkboxes) from which users can select only one. 
• User Add Row: Allows users to dynamically add multiple rows of related data (often with a set of sub-fields). single-line
• Video: Enables users to embed or upload video content.
