In AcceleratorApp, communicating with your startups and users is essential for smooth program management. Whether you're reaching out to individual startups, groups, or candidates in a call process, AcceleratorApp offers a straightforward way to send personalized and trackable emails. This guide will walk you through the different methods available for sending emails from within the platform, ensuring you can connect efficiently and maintain strong relationships with your users.

 

Step by Step Actions

 

Creating Emails from Startup Portfolio

 

Step 1: Navigate to the Startup 

 

From the top menu, click on Startup to access the page.

Step 2: Fill in the Email Details.

 

The Send Email modal will open, and you will need to complete the following fields:

 

  • To: Select who you want to send the email to. You can select startups individually or by group (such as by program or tags). You can also add CC and BCC fields for additional recipients.
  • CC and BCC: Add emails that should receive the message as a copy (CC) or blind copy (BCC).
  • Personalization: Add variables such as first name and last name to personalize the email.
  • Templates: If you frequently send similar emails, use templates to save time. After composing an email, click on Templates, select Save as New Template, and assign a name. You can then use this template for future emails by selecting Choose Template.
  • Subject: Enter the subject of the email. You can customize the subject line to include personalization variables like first name and last name.
  • Email Body: Type the body of your email, including any personalization variables you wish to use.

Step 3: Sending the Email

 

Once your email is complete, click the Preview button to review the content. When you’re satisfied, click the blue Send button at the bottom of the modal to send the email to all recipients.

 

Step 4: Email Tracking

 

Each email will be stored in the startup’s file. You can track the email’s deliverability status, including whether it was delivered and how many times it was opened.

Creating Emails from Events

 

Step 1: Access the Event Details

For each published event, navigate to the event’s Edit section.

Step 2: Compose and Send Email

Click the Compose and Send Email button, where you can email your selected, registered, and attending users.

Email Limit

All the emails sent through the methods described above will be deducted from your monthly email limit, which depends on your plan.

 

Step 1: Check Email Usage

To see how many emails you have available, go to General Settings and select Current Plan.

Creating Emails from the Application Dashboard

 

Step 1: Access the Application Section

Navigate to the Application Overview and select the appropriate application funnel.

 

Step 2: Select Candidates

Choose the candidate status and select the applications you want to email.

 

Step 3: Send Email

In the banner of the Massive Actions section, you’ll find the Send Email option. Click this to send your email to the selected candidates.
