Laura: Ignite Bermuda started in 2019 as a charity focused on entrepreneurial growth. Our main goals revolve around providing extensive support through a free six-month accelerator program. We offer two completely free programs: the core program, which is quite intensive and includes business coaching, educational curricula, access to a robust network of mentors, and a lighter track, the fuel series, consisting of monthly virtual workshops.
In 2020, we started with just two team members, but as the demand for our programs grew, so did our team, which is now up to five. Over eight cohorts, we have enhanced the entrepreneurial skills of approximately 30-34 businesses annually through the core program and about 60 in the fuel series. Each year, we successfully launch oversubscribed cohorts, showing the high demand for entrepreneurial support in Bermuda.
