Smarter applicant deadline reminders

What's new

  • The reminder cadence is no longer linear. The schedule is now: 14 days out, 7 days, 3 days, 24 hours, 4 hours.
  • The 4-hour reminder is the single highest-converting message in the funnel — applicants who got it in our beta finished their application 47% more often than applicants who didn't.
  • Cadence is configurable per program if you'd rather opt for a quieter schedule.

Why it matters

A pile of evenly-spaced reminders trains applicants to ignore them. A schedule that backs off and then taps once close to deadline behaves more like a thoughtful human and converts like one.
