Learn how to create and edit your Milestones Plans.
Creating a Milestone Plan
Navigate to My Startup, click on the menu icon next to the name of your startup, and select the Milestones tab. From there, click on the orange button Create Plan in the upper right corner—at this point, you can choose a Milestone plan template. Some fields will be automatically populated if you select a template, and the rest must be filled out manually. Otherwise, you can create your own plan and fill in all the required fields, which will be the Overall Objective (vis-a-vis OKRs).
Creating Milestones from the Plan
Creating Milestones from the plan is in your hands. Each milestone is a measurable outcome that contributes to the overall objective. Simply click on the blue Create Milestone button to start. Fill in the name of the milestone, the goal, and the end date, then save. You can also edit the milestone plan and delete or export it as a PDF file from the icons in the right corner, giving you full control over your plan.
Creating Sub milestones
Once you create the milestone, you can develop sub-milestones, tasks, or specific action items to achieve the corresponding milestone. To do this, click on the blue create sub milestone button and fill in the information related to this sub milestone, such as the title and description; select the function, the goal, the time (in weeks), the start date, the budget, and spent so far, and finally, save it. You also have the option to edit or delete the sub-milestone.
