Introduction to Funnels Overview
Learn how to manage application funnels in AcceleratorApp — including controlling funnel status, transparency, accessibility, and marketplace visibility settings to fit your program's needs.
Application Funnels are managed by the Admin and Sub-Admin of an incubator. An incubator may have more than one funnel, and a single funnel can be used for applications to more than one program (limited by pricing plan).
From the Funnels page, Admins can control the status, visibility, and accessibility of each funnel. Archiving a funnel will automatically archive all draft applications and block new submissions. Disabling transparency will hide the selection process from applicants entirely.
Note: If you have more than one funnel, you can make them all accessible from the main application page so applicants can choose from a general link — otherwise they must use the direct link to a specific funnel.
Where to Find Funnels
Click on Applications from the Home page or the top menu to open the Applications Overview page, then select the Funnels tab.

Step-by-Step
1. Accessing the Funnels Tab
- Click on Applications from the top menu or the Home page.
- Select the Funnels tab.

2. Managing a Funnel
From the Funnels tab, each funnel card can be edited, duplicated, or deleted using the action icons on the card.

3. Controlling Funnel Visibility
Each funnel has four visibility toggles:
- Funnel Status — Active (blue) funnels can receive new applications. Archived (red) funnels cannot. Archiving a funnel will archive all draft applications and block new submissions, while allowing you to continue evaluating applications already submitted.
- Transparency — Transparent (blue) allows applicants to see the number of selection rounds and track their progress. Hidden (red) keeps the selection process invisible to applicants until they are accepted or rejected.
- Accessibility — Accessible (blue) makes the funnel available on the main application page (
your.url.com/application/new) via a dropdown. Not accessible (red) means the funnel can only be reached via its direct link. - Publish on Marketplace — Enabled (blue) publishes the funnel on the AcceleratorApp Marketplace, making it discoverable to a broader audience beyond your own community. Disabled (red) keeps the funnel off the Marketplace.

Best Practices
- Use funnels beyond applications. Application funnels can also be used to recruit mentors or staff to your incubator.
- Enable main page accessibility. Making funnels accessible on the main application page attracts a wider audience and simplifies the apply experience.
- Use direct links for private funnels. If a program is invite-only or not yet public, keep accessibility off and share the direct funnel link with your target audience only.
- Leverage the Marketplace for visibility. If your program is open to the public, publishing it on the Marketplace increases its reach and helps attract applicants outside your existing network.
