Introduction to Exporting Startups Profile Information
AcceleratorApp allows you to export startups profile information in two different ways.
The first way is from the Startup Portfolio, where you can customize the visible columns before exporting. This is useful when you want more control over the startup data included in the file.
The second way is from Startup Management, where you can export preset reports such as the Startup Report and Founders Report.
In both cases, the export is generated and sent to your email. You can also download the file directly from Export History once it is ready.
Where to Find Startup Profile Exports
You can export startup profile information from the Startups section.
There are two locations:
- Startup Portfolio
- Startup Management
Step-by-Step
1. Open the Startups section
From the homepage, click Startups in the top navigation bar.
2. Export startup profile information from Startup Portfolio
Once you are in Startup Portfolio, click Export in the top right corner.
Then select:
Export Startup > Excel file
This generates an export of the startup profile information and sends it to your email.
3. Customize the exported columns from Startup Portfolio
If you want more control over the data included in the export, switch to Table view first, and then click Columns.
This will open the Customize Columns modal where you can toggle on or off the fields you want to include in the export.
This allows you to export only the startup profile information you need.
4. Generate the export from Startup Portfolio
Once your table is configured with the columns you want, click:
Export > Export Startup > Excel file
Your export will be generated using the current column configuration.
5. Export startup profile information from Startup Management
You can also export startup profile information from Startup Management.
From the Startups section, click Startup Management in the left sidebar.
6. Download a preset report from Startup Management
In Startup Management, you will see two report options in the top right corner:
- Startup Report
- Founders Report
Click Startup Report to export startups profile information.
Click Founders Report if you want to export founders-related information instead.
These reports are preset and are also sent to your email once generated.
7. Download the export from Export History
After generating the export, you can wait for the file in your email, or you can open Export History and download it directly to your device from there.
This gives you another way to access the exported file without needing to search for it later.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use Table view in Startup Portfolio if you want to choose exactly which startup profile fields are included in the export.
- Use Startup Management when you want to quickly download a preset Startup Report or Founders Report.
- Check Export History if you want a centralized place to find and download your any of your completed export files.
