Introduction to Editing Forms, Funnels & Emails
The ability to edit published Forms, Emails, and Funnels ensures your program stays agile as requirements evolve. Whether you need to add a question to an intake form, update an automated email, or adjust application stages, AcceleratorApp provides a centralized way to make these updates in real time — without losing existing data or starting over.
Access to editing these core structures is typically reserved for Admin users or Program Managers (Sub-Admins). Some advanced funnel customizations may require specific tiers or plans.
Where to Find
- Forms — Navigate to the Forms Management page in the main sidebar.
- Funnels & Emails — Go to Applications > Funnels.
- Custom Fields — Access via Settings > Custom Fields (required for modifying specific fields within forms).

Step-by-Step
1. Editing Forms and Fields
a. Navigate to the Forms Management page.
b. Click the three dots or gear icon (Actions) and select Edit.

c. To add or remove fields: drag and drop new fields into the builder, or remove existing ones.
d. To set rules: click on a field to add Validations (word count, content type), Visibility Restrictions (limit who can see answers), or Conditional Rules.

e. Use the Version Control icon next to the Save button to review previous iterations or revert changes.

To modify the settings of a specific Custom Field, you must do so from the Custom Fields page — not the form builder.
Always Save and then Publish your changes. If you only save, edits remain in draft and will not be visible to applicants or evaluators. You must publish for the changes to take effect.
2. Managing Funnel Status and General Settings
a. Go to Applications > Funnels.
b. On the Funnel card, use the toggles to quickly change:
- Active/Inactive — Enable or disable the entire funnel.
- Transparent/Hidden — Determine if applicants can see their progress.
- Main Page Accessibility — Show or hide the funnel on your main landing page.
c. Click the Pencil Icon to enter the full funnel editor.
3. Modifying Funnel Rounds and Emails
a. Inside the Funnel Editor, go to the Overview Tab.
b. Add or remove actions/steps — Insert or modify emails, meeting settings, evaluations, or forms.
c. Edit email content — Click on any email step to modify its template, subject line, or body.
d. Update actions — Adjust how meetings are booked or swap out forms.
It is not possible to rename funnel rounds or change the order in which they appear. Plan your round structure carefully before publishing the funnel.
As with forms, always Save and then Publish after making any changes to the funnel. Saved changes that have not been published will not be visible to applicants moving through the funnel.

4. Adjusting Funnel Logistics and Landing Pages
a. Settings Tab — Change the funnel name, set application deadlines, enable anonymization for fair reviews, or assign Funnel Admins.
b. Public Page Tab — Edit the layout, images, and descriptive text of the landing page where founders apply.
c. Always Save and then Publish to push your changes live. Saving alone is not enough — unpublished changes remain in draft and are not visible to applicants.
Best Practices
- Always publish after saving. This applies to both forms and funnels — saving without publishing keeps your changes in draft mode. Your applicants and evaluators will only see the last published version.
- Forms need an action to be visible. A form must be attached to an action to appear — an Application Form must be inside a Funnel; a Quiz must be inside a Course.
- Changes are not retroactive. Updates apply to future interactions only — they won't affect data or steps already completed by candidates.
- Plan your round structure before publishing. Since round names and order cannot be changed after creation, make sure your funnel structure is final before going live.
- Watch out for meeting links. If you modify Meeting Settings within a funnel, scheduling links already sent to candidates will be invalidated. Notify active candidates first.
- Check field usage before editing. Verify if a Custom Field is used across multiple forms before editing it in the Custom Fields page — changes there reflect everywhere that field is used.
