Mentor Matching Settings
By default, a mentor is matched to a startup they are connected to either through a matching process, access to a one-on-one event, or by email invitation. You can choose to allow startups to book mentors they are not connected to. Matching mentors to startups allows them to book meetings with each other. By default, startups can book an unlimited number of hours with mentors.
Where to Find
Click on the Menu icon on the top left of the page, click on General Settings, and click on Mentor Matching Settings.

Do you require connections for coaching sessions? i.e. Must the startup be connected to the mentor to book coaching sessions?
Do you require an allocation of hours to start and schedule coaching sessions? i.e. Are startups limited in the number of hours they can book with a mentor?
Best Practices:
- Create milestones to guide the mentorship.
- Consider assigning multiple mentors, each with different areas of expertise, to provide a more comprehensive support system.
- Facilitate introductions between the startups and mentors and provide clear guidelines and expectations for the mentorship relationship.
